Minerva looks after Cayman homes for owners who spend part of the year elsewhere. We establish an understanding of each residence and its owner’s expectations, then provide the level of oversight agreed for that property.

Our visits are documented, giving owners a clear view of their home while they are away. If something requires attention, we explain what we have found, discuss the appropriate next step and coordinate the people needed to address it. An observation should not simply become another task for the owner to manage from abroad.

Some matters need a straightforward arrangement. Others call for monitoring, a specialist’s advice or a decision from the owner. Our role is to keep track of what is happening and ensure that agreed actions are followed through.

Ready when you return

The experience of coming home matters as much as the care taken during an absence. Ahead of an owner’s arrival, we can coordinate the preparations agreed for their residence, so that practical matters have been attended to and the home is ready to be lived in again.

Every property, pattern of travel and household is different. Some owners want oversight during long seasonal absences; others travel frequently and need a consistent local presence between visits. We shape the care around the home and the level of involvement the owner requires.

A home should not become a source of uncertainty simply because its owner is away. With someone familiar with it on island, there is a person to notice, communicate and follow matters through.
