Minerva Academy is a unique, exclusive and professional butler and house management school. We are proud to be the finest and most traditional staff training institute in Cayman. We are equally proud that some of the world’s wealthiest families turn to us for staff training and to consult our knowledgeable team on matters of staff service, etiquette and protocol.
Who are we?
Minerva Academy is a school verified as a learning provider by the Education Council of the Cayman Islands, the body which registers educational institutions and regulates the teaching profession in accordance with the standards set by the Ministry of Education. We are also proud that our training is officially endorsed by the British Butler Institute, a leading body which trains professional butlers for private houses, five-star resorts, hotels, private clubs, private jets, yachts and international businesses around the world. We are the only school of this kind in Cayman.
A private and unique setting
In addition to an on-site training which is tailor-made to your home and your specific needs, we teach a program called “Help-the-Helper” in our dedicated small luxury apartment, which allows students to experience the challenges of a private household in a simulated environment. Furnished with both modern materials and antiques, silverware and fine china, our unique apartment is the perfect context in which to impart standards of excellence.
Who are our students and what are our requirements?
Our students come from all over the globe and their backgrounds differ enormously. A working knowledge of English is required as the course is run completely in English. Approximately 65 percent of our students are female. While no previous training and experience are necessary, a service-oriented personality and the right attitude are the foundations of success.
