PRIVATE STAFF TRAINING

We offer an extensive range of courses for staff in private households, yachts and aircraft. We reflect British traditions, adapted to a modern Caribbean setting. Our aim is to equip staff with all the skills necessary to support our clients effectively and elegantly.

We know properly trained staff are the foundation of any well-functioning business and household. Highly skilled staff are, however, difficult to find and there are scant resources available locally to equip staff who are already on island to meet the higher expectations of their employers.

Our staff trainers are trained and certified by various institutions such as The International Butler Academy (Netherlands), The British Butler Institute (UK) and the Butler Valet school (UK). They have acted as butlers and chiefs of staff to some of the world’s most successful individuals and prominent families. They have worked across the world in private houses and estates as well as in the luxury sector, whether on land, in the air or at sea. Their experience, both in staff training and service, gives our courses a practical focus backed up by theory, anecdote and example. Our staff trainers are well-travelled, culturally fluent and practised at getting the best out of an individual and making them shine.

Our programme is endorsed by our partner, the British Butler Institute (TBBI) in the UK and our trainer is a professional butler certified by The International Butler Academy (TIBA) in the Netherlands.

Our courses

Our training courses are available for private homes, janitorial teams, yacht crews and individuals. They are designed to teach or refresh housekeeping skills in a domestic environment and focus on the effective use of eco-friendly products, which are less expensive while being as effective as commercial products. They are also gentler and more versatile, allowing you to declutter your cabinets from unnecessary products. Courses can also be personalised to focus solely on the skills that are relevant to a property, its unique items and special surfaces. Students will be doing hands-on practical training and will receive an attendance certificate at the end of the course.

Location: At your home.

Price: we offer a free consultation to discuss your needs and provide a customised quote based on that discussion. This allows us to tailor the course to your specific requirements. See below the average time and price per module for 1 person (kit included). We charge an extra $50 per additional attendee.
